Profile

The Department of Mathematics, Goalpara College was started in 1966 under the guidance of Mr. Nanda Dulal Adhikary. Initially the Department was offering PU science course with Mathematics. In 1980, B.Sc course in Mathematics was introduced and the Department worked as a full-fledged Department providing quality education in Mathematics. At present, the Department offers three years Bachelors degree (B.Sc) course in Mathematics in CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) system and offers Mathematics subject for the 2-years Higher Secondary course.
