 | National Librarians' Day and Library Orientation Programme | Dr.Subhas Barman, Goalpara College, Goalpara is presided over the meeting. Dr. Bhanu Bezbora Kalita motivated students for using library. Dr. Jayanta Brahma highlighted the importance of books. Mr. A. Hussain advised the students to utilize the librarys many services. Mr. P.Chutia expressed in his speech that a house without books is like a room without windows. The programs goal, ambition and significance were described by librarian Shikha Basak. She emphasized Padmashree Dr. S R Ranganathans contributions in her speech. The rules and regulations of the library and its various parts of library services offered by the library and the college websites were also covered in detail by librarian Shikha Basak. | |
 | User Awareness Programme on National Digital Library of India and NDLI CLUB | An online user awareness programme on National Digital Library of India and NDLI Club was organized by the Goalpara College Library in association with National Digital Library of India through Google Meet Platform on 10th June, 2023. The webinar was coordinated by the Librarian of the college Mrs. Shikha Basak and was inaugurated by the honourable principal of the college Dr. Subhash Barman. In his inaugural speech, Dr. Barman expressed the importance of National Digital Library of India. Later, our resource person, Ms. Phulasmita Nath, Project Officer of NDLI-NERC, IIT, Guwahati gave a brief introduction on National Digital Library of India and NDLI CLUB. In her presentation, she explained all the activities of NDLI and gave a live demonstration on National Digital Library of India. The webinar was attended by the 102 participants. | |
 | Inauguration of Wall Magazine | Goalpara College Library published its wall Magazine under the title Bibliotheca on 20-09- 2022. Ms. Manasi Devi, the co-ordinator of the wall magazine in her welcome address expressed thanks to all the students who extended their relentless hard work and deep involvement to make Bibliotheca a story of success.Dr. Subhash Barman, Principal, Goalpara College, praised and congratulated the students on their creativity and writing skills. Finally, Prof. Pradip Phukan, Deptt. of Chemistry & CDC of G.U. inaugurated the wall Magazine. | |

Dr. Yoshiko Bailung motivated students for using library. D. Chintamayee Sarangi discussed on Knowledge Commissions report. National Librarians Day , 2022 and Library Orientation Programme have been extended to the colleges room 21. The programme was officially launched by Dr.Subhash Barman, the principal of Goalpara College, who also welcomed all newcomer students. He made a point of highlighting the value of libraries in his address. The pupils were advised by Dr. S. K. Mishra to utilize the librarys many services. The students were encouraged to visit the library by Dr. Hemanta Kumar Kalita. Dr. Dulal Boruah also emphasized to the pupils the value of libraries.  | An Essay Competition | Goalpara college Library in collaboration with Purbanchal Prakash, Guwahati is organised an essay competition on the eve of Bishnu Rabha Divas. Subject of the essay is ?????: ?????? ???? ??? ????? ???????? ??? 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be given to the winners. Prizes are sponsored by Purbanchal Prakash, Guwahati. Participants are:- 1.  | Literary Festival & Book Fair | Goalpara College Library organized Literary Festival & Book Fair" in association with the Goalpara College Magazine at Goalpara College, Goalpara. As a part of the program a Book Fair is organized on 13, 14, 15, 16, & 17th June, 2022 at Goalpara College, Goalpara. The program is inaugurated by Dr. Subhash Barman, Principal, Goalpara College. Mainly three booksellers, i.e. Mondal Book Centre from Bongaigaon, Purbanchal Prakash from Guwahati and Woodpecker from Kolkata are participated the same. | |

 | Observation of Librarians Day on 12th August, 2021 | National Librarians' Day is celebrated on 12th August, 2021 at the college library in the presence of Teaching and Non-teaching staff of the college maintaining the proper COVID 19 protocol. The program is presided over by the Dr. S. N. Sarma, Vice-Principal and H.O.D. of Geography. The program begins with offering flowers to Padmashree Dr. S. R. Ranganathan.
