Awards and Scholarships

Moziruddin Ahmed Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is instituted from the last year (2018-19) by the donation given by Kamrun Hasan and Dr. Moshrafuddin Ahmed. A sum of Rupees 3 Lakhs has been donated for this purpose. In every year four scholarships will be given to four meritorious students which will be as follows:

1. Students securing highest aggregate marks in Higher Secondary Final Examination in both Arts and Science.
2. Students securing highest aggregate marks in TDC Final Examination in both Arts and Science.

Bipin Ch. Ghose (Teacher) Memorial Scholarship

1. One scholarship will be awarded to the students securing highest aggregate marks in the first year TDC examination (2nd semester result) in both Arts and Science.
2. One scholarship will be awarded to the students securing highest aggregate marks in 2^nd year TDC examination (4th semester result) in both Arts and Science.

The amount of scholarship will be 500/- (five hundred) for each scholarship holders).

Moreover deserving students can enjoy the benefits of various state and central government Scholarship such as National Merit scholarship, State Merit scholarship, Scholarship to Char area students and ITDP sponsored SC/ST/OBC/MOBC scholarships.

Apart from above scholarship, the college offers following aids and supports:

• Waiving of full tuition fee or one year for those students who secure first position in the 1st Year HS and TDC-I (total score of 1st and 2nd semester). TDC-II (total score of 3rd and 4th semester) for major students in both faculties of Arts & Science in every year.
