Profile

Chemistry Department initiated its journey in 1966 for pre-University degree with the help of Department founder Mr. Ziaur Rahman and marched ahead for quite a while, and then Chemistry was introduced as General subject for Bachelor of Science degree in 1972. In the year 1979, the Department launched B.Sc. Chemistry as Honour subject. The Department is having a vision of establishing as model resource of excellence in the field of Chemistry.
